This is probably going to be JB's last post for a really long time. As such, it is my duty to make sure this comic is well-drawn and in COLOUR.

Okok, i admit it, im not that responsible. The following comic IS in colour because im submitting it for a competition.

This tag suddenly appeared. On Boxing Day, nonetheless. What a way to spread the festive Cheer.

I know not all RI students are like that but most of them are. For arrogant ass f**k nerds, this is for you. GO GET F**KED

Actually, I've just been reading Nostradamus (ancient astrologer and false prophet) so I thought I'd analyze your tag like people analyze Nostradamus' Quatrains. Which, in case you didn't know, is a sort of 4-line poem.

1. They aren't funny at all... I find them damn lame...

Perhaps what passerby is trying to say here is that he is not entertained by our comics. No double meaning there. This first line is (thankfully) quite clear cut.

2. Go find something better to do.. -.- At least when you arrogant RI nerds are studying, others can have fun and not feel disgusted at you nerds.

Based on the little I remember from Dennis Au's Philosophy Lessons, this statement (we'll label it S1) is based on several shaky premises. But first, definitions.

"Nerd" - a geek is any smart person with an obsessive interest, a nerd is the same but also lacks social grace, and a dweeb is a mega-nerd
"Others" - probably implies non-arrogant, non-RI, non-nerds.

P1: RI has arrogant nerds.
P2: Nigel, SungMing, and 'Oyster' are arrogant nerds.
P3: RI nerds study
P4: 'Others' can only have fun when arrogant RI nerds are busy studying.

As you can see, all 4 premises are intrinsically flawed. Firstly, P1; Nerd negates Arrogant. Arrogant connotates confidence, and Nerds lack social grace. Therefore, one cannot be both Arrogant and a Nerd simultaneously. Perhaps we're like shapeshifters. I can already imagine the movie tagline.

COMING TO CINEMAS 2008! IT'S (dramatic pause) SHAPESHIFTERS! NERDS BY DAY, ARROGANT BY NIGHT.

I'm sorry, passerby, but I kinda lose your argument at P1 already.

Nehmind, move on to P2.

It's already been stated above that one cannot be Arrogant and a Nerd. However, I will further disprove P2 by stating with utmost confidence that Nigel and SumgMing are by no means Nerds. Both have no trouble relating with peers, and as much as they share a common obsessive interest (compliant to above definition), they hardly qualify as Nerds at all. (I've never met Oyster, but I'll bet he's no nerd.)

SungMing and Nigel are, however, quite arrogant.

BUT OYSTER IS NOT.

When he posted his mega-poweful and professional Anime comic, the only text written was "Everyone see and give me your comments". Despite the obvious quality of his comic, Oyster chose to remain humble.

P3 is perhaps the most reliable premise of the 4. And it is true. Barry Tng and Nigel Fong are constantly spotted in the Library, doing (what else) serious mugging. After EOYs. "Who would do such a thing?" You might ask. RI nerds. But, as postulated above, Neither of the 3 blog authors are nerds.

In contrast to it's predecessor P3, P4 is the most outrageous~~ly funny~~ premise of the lot. I don't think I need to explain why, but let's have a bit of a laugh at it, shall we?

P4: 'Others' can only have fun when arrogant RI nerds are busy studying.

Of course, we know that once P1/P2/P3 falls, P4 Cannot Possibly Be True or correct, since it is based on the preceding 3. Nevertheless, I fail to see how RI nerds deter anyone from having fun by not studying. Somebody, please. Enlighten me. It is a universal truth of the ages: If 2 groups do not make contact (direct o indirect), there is no way they can possibly influence each other.

That is to say, even if I put Metallica right next to a geriatric old lady with Heart problems and liver spots next to each other, as long as there's a sound proof wall between them, the Band can play DeathMetal and the lady will go feed some birds. Get my drift?

If 'Others' never come into contact with RI nerds, how can RI nerds affect 'Others'' ability to have fun? Huh? Huh!?

3. Go get an attitude change.. I know not all RI students are like that but most of them are.

Fundamental flaw: You have commited a fallacy known as "Poisoning The Well". It undermines your credibility and tarnishes your reputation. Of course, everyone would benefit from an attitude change. Including you, passerby. You insult-flinging non-believing anti-studying psuedo-intellectual tagboard SCUM!

Okay, I'm sorry. I take it all back.

NOT.

4. For arrogant ass f**k nerds, this is for you. GO GET F**KED

Really, now. Then it's not for me. Nor is it for anyone else that reads this blog. I'm curious, though. I'd really like to see an example of an "ass f**ck nerd".

Oh, and look again at what you've done. Read what you've written. In the end, I'm sure your mother would have been very very proud.

Sung Ming's in China. And I feel very guilty about not posting in his absence. The words of a dying man are attributed great respect, and Sung Ming's last words were "...don't let this blog die." I guess even if visitors come back everyday the blog's still dead. Whether it comes back or not is up to me, since Jackson Brothers only has 2 contributors.

A few failed Clinja comics in the past aren't going to stop me. I'm kinda facing "artist's block" on my new comic, The Anthem, which is a story about a man who paralyses people with the national anthem. You notice how everyone who respects their country needs to stand still when National anthem is played/sung? The Anthem is also the name of the anti-hero who exploits this.

But enough words. I am going to post a frame-by-frame sneak preview of the long-abandoned STRAWBERRY CLONE series. I'm not done, because I don't know how the story is supposed to go from where I left off.

And so, the story goes like this.
The essence of it is that there's a Japanese scientist, wanting to create the perfect strawberries (ripens quickly, sweet, no seeds, pink in color), accidentally spills some chemical and brings the berries to life. They are nice and cute and friendly but somehow turn nasty.

Anyone have a better idea?

Took this out from my comic book. Havent read through it for a really long time since i drew it out in 2006. Now that i think about it 2G has always been the most bonded class i've ever been in. The Phantom Sweetheart

Ok now we bring you the first page of the first chapter of the comic series, "The Phantom Sweetheart". Basically this story is done by Lim Shikai, Shazam, Kiffy Piffy, and two other dudes i dont recognize. They plan to start off this comic series together, and once they're done the story will be posted here on the JB blog.

What is this comic about? i dunno. Ask them, not me cuz I wasnt told about the story. But being a nice guy, i shall help the intellectually disbaled readers to hypothesize about what its roughly about. Firstly, the title say "The Phantom Sweetheart". From this we can guess that at least 1 ghost is involved in this story, and the element of LOVE is also in it. From the picture we can see a boy and a girl, so we can assume that the LOVE happened between them. From the picture we can also see that the boy has grotesque looking earphones, so it follows that the boy is Jonathan, as he also has grotesque looking earphones. Ok forget the last part about the earphones.

Juz talked to shikai. Apparently he has juz changed the name to Yukari's Diary. SO forget the Phantom Sweetheart too. You see the diray at the bottom on the floor? The story is all about it. The boy and the girl are, well, backdrop scenery.

I am talking rubbish. -.-

Ok on a side note, i have come to the conclusion that manga is well, not my style. Shikai is very pro at it, as we can see from the picture. But im not. I tried drawing the girl today, but its screwed. I can get the eyes, but the rest of the bod juz doesnt fit in place. Oh well. I think my bug eyed guys are nicer.

I seem to be ranting. This is very unlike me. I shall leave this post with juz two more sentences.

The Jackson Brothers hereby apologies for slacking during the past week. To make it up to you we shall pause the rugby profiles for a moment to present to you the 4 page issue of M:I:IIIIIIIIII.

The comic M:I:IIIIIIIIII was made somewhere in the July-August period, where the Unagi was an extremely rare resource in RI. Unagi, or the Japanese eel, was somewhat considered a delicacy to many of the student population. This food resource could only be found at the Japanese food van in RI. Due to its extreme rarity in the food van, many students desiredd after it like knights after the holy Grail. The ideal meal to every RI boy soon became a box of Unagi with rice, topped up with a cup of either Soya milk or tea. Sadly, Unagi was too rare to feed the entire student populace, and only the first few students who came down for recess would be able to sample them.Many students had to turn to other staple food sources such as chicken and salmon. However, true fanatics of the Unagi never gave up hope, sprinting down corridors during recess, in the hope that they would be the first few to reach the food van...in the quest, for the unagi and cup.

The most charming hero who ever stepped onto the battlefield, Jason's strengths lie on his sharp tongue and his mastery in the art of tackling. Long lost legend has it that this hero found a glowing crystal right below the altar in the temple of the Gryphon. Upon mere contact with the crystal, Jason transformed into his large and supernatural form. However, he still maintains his handsome looks and his sharp tongue. One of his abilities would be to use his totem-like arms to slam an opponent into the hard ground, causing concussions. His foul tongue is also very alive on the field, much to the disappointment of the enemy. His most heartbreaking ability would be to capture the hearts of not the enemy, but their loves themselves. This results in the lost morale of the enemy and causes devestating effects to enemy heroes. Ahh, the power of love. Protect your girlfriends, if you were to face this handsome yet fearsome hero.

One of the most intelligent hero in the entire battlefield, the Shaochun was found by the Gryphon in the cold and deep forests planted around the Rafflesian Fortresses, guarding it from day to night against the Anglo attackers. His ability to blend in within the shadows and sharp stature makes him one of the swiftest and deadliest killers on the field. One of his primary skills, would be to launch himself towards an enemy in the form of the spear, impaling the enemy and leaving blood spurting everywhere. This guardian, after many centuries of learning to blend with the shadows, makes use of this ability to slip in and out of any melees, battles, or conflicts. His ultimate skill brings fear to everyone, be it the enemy, his teammates, or even the Gryphon: being able to summon an army of powerful stick soldiers able to destroy everything on their way. The Shaochun is no doubt a great pusher, and of course, a wonderful companion to have in the war against the Anglo.

A cheeky yet sly mortal, the Husaini was enlisted by the Rafflesian to aid in the ongoing battle against the Anglo. He has many tactics under his hands, used to stun enemies, break their ranks, and destroy them completely. His huge body mass and extraordinarily powerful legs enable him to move forward at a great velocity, and thus allowing him to break even the toughest of human walls. When cornered this Mortal Being uses his hands for two different reasons, to pinch the opponant's nipples, causing excrutiating pain that maims the enemy and causes the opponent to bleed and lose hp over time. Secondly, he uses them to pull his mortal gown down, flashing his winky towards the Angloians, and stunning them with a terribly SHOCKING image. Finally, if he knows he is about to take his last breath, Husaini does a huge sacrifice in order to help save his team by splintering his powerful feet on his teammate's leg. This sacrifice would follow with an insane sHockwave that ripples throughout the battlefield, blowing opponents inside out and lifting them off into the air, before hurling them down onto the tough ground at an unbearable speed.

The C Div rugby team had a team trip to Thailand while i was posting the profiles, and continuing them without the ruggers here would quite defeat the purpose of it. Anyway, here's the next profile. Many long years before the Raffles Rugby team was formed, a monstrousity was found gnawing on a pillar under the Gryphon's Lair. It was foul and horrible, its mouth filled with the blood of many ruggers, and its hands entangled with the guts of its rugger preys. Its jersey reeked a terrible stench, and was simply patched up by the hides of many ruggers, unsuspecting ruggers who had the very misfortune of meeting it. Wherever it went, the monstrosity could be detected miles away by its smell. The Gryphon took pity on it and raised it up till it was fit to be unleashed into the Raffles team, and to strike terror and fear into the Angloians. His name echoes over the hills of Rugbyian over and over again as a monster of doom and horror. The last sight of many who perished under him would be of a towering juggernaut, gliding through the long grasses of the fields at them with amazingly powerful force. Then they would feel every bone being crushed in their body. And everything…would go black.

Let me tell u a story.

There was once an old wise rugger and a young inexperienced rugger. One day while they were in a match against Raffles, the young rugger said to the old rugger, "Look at Raffles' cute hooker, let me go over and tackle him."

The old wise rugger said, "Wadeva u do, boy, dont go near him. If he comes near u, run to the furthest end of the field. Or u will regret it for generations to come."

The young inexperienced rugger refused to listen. He said, "What harm can the cute hooker do to me. All he has is an extremely high voice."

The young inexperienced rugger den ran to Raffles' hooker. Before he got within 5 metres, there was a flash of metal. Blood rained down, and the young rugger's voice flew an octave higher. The weight between his legs felt distinctively lighter. The old rugger's warnings had come true. This would affect the young rugger for future generations to come.

Meet Shannon, Raffles' hooker. Legend has it that he had DSA-ed into the C Div Allstars for his infamous ball hooking skill. The accuracy and precision of his ball hooking goes unmatched in the battlefield. He's skill in ball hooking, topped with his extremely high voice, makes him an extremely formidable opponent in the battlefield.

What they dont know is his deep dark secret. The REAL Dixon is part of a brotherhood called the C Div Allstars... The REAL Dixon possesses superpowers no one can ever fathom...

The Dixon, probably the most humorous Rafflesian on the battlefield, contains powers that even the coldest and hardiest Anglo cannot withstand. His face, although dumb, can impose the most confusing aura on his foes. His most powerful skIll can wreck the entire battlefield to bits. The Dixon is indeed one to be feared of.
